Halfnote is home of
Kill Dorothy a London band with fresh and powerful pop-rock tunes. The band is a partnership of Lucia de Castro, a portuguese singer/songwriter with a voice often compared to Bjork, Cranberries and Evanescence; and Nils Hagner, a swedish songwriter/musician and producer.
Their influences vary from P.J Harvey, Pixies, Foo Fighters, Hole, Juliette and the Licks, Guano Apes to Jimmi Hendrix and Bruce Springsteen giving Kill Dorothy a charachteristic powerful melodic pop-rock that will blow you away!
Kill Dorothy has gigged throughout the London venue scene gathering high praise from the audiences and the music industry. They are building an international fun base via several music websites and have reached 25.000 friends on Myspace.

2007 is being a great year for Halfnote. In April the label is launching Kill Dorothy's
debut album to be available on
